The surf conditions in San Diego & Ormond Beach are great for learning to surf!

Private Surf Lessons are offered everyday and include:

• Use of a surfboard and leash
• Use of a wetsuit and/or rash-guard t-shirt
• 1-hour of practice time after the instructor's lesson
• Complementary water, bathrooms, lockers, security, and excellent customer service in the surf shop

Private surf lessons are the best way to learn to surf in San Diego or Ormond Beach. In a 1.5 hour “easy to learn or improve” surf lesson we teach you techniques for proper paddling, positioning, standing, falling, ocean awareness, getting through waves, wave timing and surfers etiquette. Students enjoy a 1:1 student to instructor ratio which allows the surf instructor to concentrate more on your own learning needs. After the lesson, you may practice the skills you learned on your own for one hour. If you need more time, you are welcome to return for follow-up surf lessons and/or surfboard rentals. If you want to keep the surfboard and wetsuit after the lesson until 5pm, the cost is an additional $10.
